On Saturday 4th June Captain Collier’s Avengers took on the challenge of the Cardiff Gauntlet Games in an endeavour to raise money for charity. The Values in Care Christmas party was a huge success and was enjoyed by staff, residents, friends and family. The party involved festive costumes, singing, dancing and good food. Santa also made an appearance!
The local Salvation Army hosted a carol service which was attended by many staff and residents. The jovial festivities were enjoyed by all with lots of singing, dancing and general merriment. Several of our residents have enrolled to achieve their Duke of Edinburgh bronze awards and have so far participated in many activities and completed a practice expedition. Autumn 2015 saw the opening of our latest registered care home, Maes y Rhyddid, which is a beautiful spacious property with substantial grounds in Hopkinstown near Pontypridd. Maes y Rhyddid is home to four individuals in the main house and a single service based in an adjacent building within the grounds.
