Our Specialist Behavioural Support Team consists of eight PBM trainers who are qualified as a minimum in BTEC Level 4 – in Positive Behavioural Support and are led by a Behavioural Therapist, all have varying skill sets, which include TEACHH, therapeutic approaches, Active Support, Understanding Autism and other specialist therapies.
With a wealth of experience working alongside primary and secondary health care teams, the multi-disciplinary approaches delivered by our Specialist Behavioural Team ensures each person’s health and wellbeing needs are supported in a proactive way.
Everyone who works for us is trained in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS), Autism Awareness and Inclusive Communication, including interpretation and implementation of support plans based on full needs assessments and subsequent risk assessments; they are also trained and experienced in observation and monitoring skills.
