Specialist Behavioural Services
Our Specialist Behavioural Support Team consists of eight PBM trainers who are qualified as a minimum in BTEC Level 4 – in Positive Behavioural Support and are led by a Behavioural Therapist, all have varying skill sets, which include TEACHH, therapeutic approaches, Active Support, Understanding Autism and other specialist therapies.
With a wealth of experience working alongside primary and secondary health care teams, the multi-disciplinary approaches delivered by our Specialist Behavioural Team ensures each person’s health and wellbeing needs are supported in a proactive way.
Everyone who works for us is trained in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS), Autism Awareness and Inclusive Communication, Â including interpretation and implementation of support plans based on full needs assessments and subsequent risk assessments; they are also trained and experienced in observation and monitoring skills.
